Gingerbread Blondies are an easy kid friendly Christmas recipe.
- 2 cups Whole White Wheat Flour, All Purpose or Gluten Free Baking Mix
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tbl Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Ginger
- 3/4 tsp Ground Cloves
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Vegan Butter or Butter softened
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 tbl Molasses
Preheat the oven to 350. Grease a 9X13 baking pan.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and brown sugar. Add butter and applesauce and mix for 1 minute.
Add vanilla and molasses, mix on low for 2-3 minutes until molasses is mixed well throughout batter.
Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until an inserted toothpick in the center comes clean.
