Looking for an easy meal idea for the week? Bacon Lover’s Quiche is an easy favorite.
Easiest Bacon Cooking Instructions
Have you tried cooking bacon in the oven? It is the easiest method around! You can even minimize clean up by using parchment paper. Simply make the parchment paper longer than your baking sheet. After you have cooked the bacon and transferred it, let the leftover bacon grease completely cool, and fold up the parchment paper and throw it away. If you fold carefully you will have little to no bacon grease left on your baking sheet.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a single layer line bacon on baking sheet. Put baking sheet in cold oven and turn oven on to 375 degrees. Cook bacon for 30 – 35 minutes. Once cooked take bacon out and let cool on a paper towel lined plate. Bacon will crisp while cooling. Let bacon grease cool. If you are careful you can fold up sides of parchment paper and through it away without getting any bacon grease on your baking pan.

- 1 Pie Crust I used a pre-made refrigerator pie crust
- 1 lb cooked bacon (6 whole pieces and rest chopped)
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk I used soy
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place pie crust in a greased quiche or pie pan. Place pan on a cookie sheet. Add a layer of chopped bacon to pan. In a bowl whisk eggs, milk, and salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture over chopped bacon. Place 6 whole pieces of bacon on top of egg layer. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. You want eggs to look done and quiche to puff. The quiche will only stay puffed while hot. Cut and serve hot.
